Pre - Prep

7.30am                                The front door is open for Early Morning Club in the Prep department

8.00am                                The side gate is opened so pupils arriving early can go to Breakfast Club. Children not attending Breakfast Club wait in the playground or   under the covered walkway, if wet, until 8.30am.   Pupils should not go to the Pre-Prep before 8.30am.

8.30am – 8.40am                 Pupils go to their classrooms, through the main door of Pre-Prep

8.40am                                   Pupils registered

8.55am – 9.15am                 Pupils and staff attend Assembly

9.15am – 10.30am               First morning session

10.30am – 10.55am Morning Break

10.55am – 12.15pm            Second morning session

12.15pm – 1.20pm              Lunch and Break

1.20pm – 3.15pm                Reception afternoon session

1.20pm – 3.20pm                Year 1 afternoon session

1.20pm – 3.25pm                Year 2 afternoon session

3.30pm – 4.00pm                Clubs for Year 1 and Year 2

Prep

8.30am to 8.40am               Pupils go to their Tutor rooms/Classroom. All children should arrive by 8.30am ready for Registration at 8.40am so that Tutors/Teachers can have Tutor time with all pupils between 8.30am and 8.55am. Children arriving after 8.40am should report to the School Office via the main school entrance.

8.30am –   8.50am               Tutor time

8.50am – 9.15am                 Pupils and teachers attend Assembly

9.15am                                   Period 1

9.55am                                   Period 2

10.35am                                Period 3       

11.15am – 11.40am Morning Break

11.40am                                Period 4

12.20pm                                Period 5

1.00pm – 2.00pm                Lunch and break

2.00pm                                  Period 6

2.40pm                                  Period 7

3.20pm                                  Period 8

4.00pm                                  End of the teaching day

4.05pm – 4.45pm/5.00pm     Clubs take place

  • Pupils have a few minutes between lessons to move to the next lesson and to go to the toilet.
  • Year 3 do not have a rigid eight period day as they have their own Class Teacher.
