After School Care Assistant

Hours: 4.00pm – 6.30pm

Days: Flexible

Status: Term Time only – (supply contract)

Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional After School Care Assistant to assist in the preparation and delivery of high quality play based activities in a safe and caring environment, including preparation of high tea, reading with children and supervising homework.

The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic and caring attitude with the ability to engage in a warm and supportive way with the children. You will be an effective communicator who can use their initiative to provide a variety of engaging and stimulating activities.

This is a part-time position (term time only). The hours of work are 4.00pm – 6.30pm

Various days are available. 

Full support and training will be provided

The Department

We operate a supervised, activity-led after school care facility for all children at the school, providing daily supervision from 4.00 – 6.30pm usually based in the Main Hall of the School. During this time, the children will have an opportunity to participate in activities, games and sports or complete their homework.
