Games Assistant

Start Date: January 2022

Contractual Status: Fixed Term Maternity Cover Contract

Hours: Four afternoons a week (2pm - 4pm)

The Position

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic games assistant to support our Sports Department in the teaching of girls' games across the Pre-Prep and Prep Departments. 

The successful candidate will be an excellent role model with a passion for sports and the ability to support coaching in netball, hockey and cricket. 

Duties will involve providing coaching support across a range of sports, including accompanying pupils to fixtures and tournaments.

Job sharers will be considered.

Sports Department

Sport is a vital part of the curriculum at TPS. The vision of the Sports’ Department is that we believe that each pupil should be given an opportunity to shine within sport and enjoy themselves, regardless of their ability. Each pupil will represent the School at sport and while it is competitive, it is also important for pupils to experience enjoyment and pleasure through participation.

The department consists of specialist coaches and highly qualified teachers who deliver the sports programme. The team work together to continually develop TPS sport, for the benefit of all our pupils.
