Year 5 at Warwick Castle

Year 5 headed to the splendid Warwick Castle as part of their medieval studies and had a fantastic day exploring the castle in splendid sunshine. They had two educational sessions: Attack and Defence, learning how to attack and defend a castle, and the Norman Conquest, which re-enacted William winning the Battle of Hastings. Sadly, the trebuchet wasn't working but we still enjoyed the talk. The amazing Falconer's Quest saw around 45 birds of prey zooming over our heads and we also had fun walking along the battlements and getting lost in the maze!
