Year 6 enjoyed a whole day with Medical Mavericks just before half term. Cordelia (yr 6) wrote "It was a brilliant day, we got to learn about the marvellous medical world of our bodies.
In the morning we did many fitness activities and my favourite was the rowing machine but lots of people liked the reactions tester – The Batak Wall.
In the afternoon we had quizzes and practical work. We learned how to draw “blood” from a fake arm, to try an ultrasound and to see what it’s like to have double vision.
All in all it was the best science day we have had."
